
Cabaret Tiki is a collective of writers and performers who mix theater, poetry, storytelling and performance art into theatrical works for the MTV generation. Playlets typically last 15 seconds to really epic works of six minutes. Come to the Cabaret Tiki
Get out your stopwatches. At 8 p.m. Jan. 19 and 20 at downtown's Kumu Kahua Theatre, and at 8 p.m. Jan. 22 at Windward Community College's Little Theatre, Cabaret Tiki will present 35 plays in one and a half hours.
A cast of 11 writer-performers and four actors will enact pieces ranging from a magical scrubbing of the Ala Wai Canal to the ramifications of dropping a pickle 40 stories. The cast includes Bryan Wake, Jason Kanda, Nathan Mark and Daniel A. Kelin II.
