Kauai, Maui, Molokai, Lanai

High surf advisory, north and west shores. Partly cloudy, a few showers tonight and tomorrow morning, then mostly sunny. NE winds 10-20 mph.

Big Island

High surf alert, north and west shores. Windward: Partly cloudy with a few showers tonight and tomorrow morning, then mostly sunny. Leeward Kohala and Kona: Fair tonight, sunny tomorrow morning, then cloudy in the afternoon. Winds variable 5-15 mph in leeward Kona, northeasterly 10-20 mph elsewhere.

Marine advisories

A small craft advisory is in effect for all Hawaiian waters north of Maui. A dissipating shearline over Maui is moving southeast slowly. A high surf advisory remains in effect for north and west shores of all islands.

Coastal waters: Tonight, tomorrow NE winds 15-20 knots, seas 4-8 feet. Northwest swell to 6 feet subsiding late tonight. Channels: Tonight and tomorrow, northeast winds 20-25 knots, seas 8-12 feet.

Volcano

Kilauea's east rift eruption is unchanged; almost no lava visible because it is moving from Puu Oo Crater to the sea through underground tubes.
