Here's a way to tour the police department without leaving home. Police Museum
is on the WebThanks to the work of police museum curator Officer Eddie Croom, you can visit the little-known Honolulu Police Museum at http://www.maui.com/~hpd/museum/muentry.htm.
The Honolulu Police Department is proud of its history, which can be traced back directly to King Kamehameha III in 1846.
If you want to take the real tour of both the museum and the police station, call 529-3351.
"Home on the Web" is a weekly Friday feature of the Star-Bulletin.
