Oahu

Today's forecast

Kauai, Maui, Molokai, Lanai

A high surf advisory is in effect for north and west shores. Mostly fair tonight, a few showers. Tomorrow sunny with brief showers. Trades 10-25 mph.

Big Island

A high surf advisory is in effect for north and west shores.

Windward Kohala, Hamakua, Hilo, Puna: Fair, some showers tonight. Mostly sunny tomorrow, brief showers. Leeward Kohala, Kona, Kau: Fair tonight, sunny tomorrow morning, partly cloudy afternoon. Winds variable in Hilo and Kona; elsewhere, trades 10-25 mph.

Marine advisories

Caution is advised for the Waianae boat harbor due to surf breaking in the channel entrance. Small craft mariners should exercise caution due to marginal wind and sea conditions in all Hawaiian waters. Coastal waters: Tonight and tomorrow, east winds 10-20 knots, seas 2-8 feet, brief windward showers. Northwest swell 6 feet, decreasing tomorrow.

Channels: East winds 15-25 knots, seas 4-12 feet tonight and tomorrow.

Volcano

The eruption of Kilauea volcano continues at Puu Oo crater, but little red lava is visible as most of the flow is moving through underground tubes.
