Haruko Akamine, 86, of Kekaha, Kauai, who worked at Ishikawa Tailor Shop, died last Tuesday in Queen’s Hospital. She was born in Kekaha, Kauai. She is survived by brother Toho. Private services.

Lawrence Araujo, 66, of Honolulu, a groundskeeper with University of Hawaii, died Dec. 12 in Honolulu. He was born in Hilo. He is survived by son Lawrence Jr.; daughters Lucille Araujo and Frances Afa; sisters Lucille Araki and Margaret Araujo; brothers Albert, Joseph and Harold, and six grandchildren. Private services. Emily A. Armbrust, 88, of Kailua, owner of Bill’s Market in Hollywood, died Nov. 29 in Kailua. She also was a violinist in the Beverly Hills Symphony. She was born in Los Angeles. She is survived by sons Robert Goldsberry and William Armbrust III; daughters Virginia McCaleb and Janet Takushi; sisters Dora Peck, Ada Savo and Grace Kidder, and 15 grandchildren. Marion Bell, 78, of Punaluu died Dec. 12 in Culver City, Calif. She played leading lady Fiona in “Brigadoon” on Broadway in 1947. She was born in St. Louis, Mo. She is survived by son Tom Charlesworth, and sisters Veronica McKinley and Evelyn Bell.

George Budway, 86, of Keaau, Ha waii, a retired colonel in the U.S. Air Force, died Dec. 14 in Hilo Hospital. He was born in Rochester, N.Y. He is survived by wife Yuk Tsin; son Robert; daughter Marylin Post; sister Elaine Sudolcan, and five grandchildren. Private services.

Adarlina Cabanatan, 52, of Puhi, Kauai, died Thursday in Wilcox Memorial Hospital. She was born in Bangui, Ilocos Norte, the Philippines. Jerry J. Goodman, also known as Gerald Joseph Goodman, 72, of Honolulu, a jazz musician and composer, died Nov. 25 in Kailua. He was born in Illinois.
