Dustow, Comiso-Fanelli
Diamond Head victors

Ashley Dustow paced the men's field in 27 minutes, 42 seconds, and Connie Comiso-Fanelli took women honors with a 32:42 clocking in the Mid Pacific Road Runners Diamond Head 8K Run yesterday.

Dustow beat out Mark Shorter, who finished in 28:25, and Roger Plamondon, who was third in 29:18.

Angela Plamondon was second on the women's side in 33:19 and Virginia Shepherd third in 40:53.

SOCCER CAMP: The first Oahu Christmas Camp, sponsored by Interpro Sports and The Bulls Soccer Club, will be held for soccer players of all ages Saturday through Wednesday, Dec. 31, at Waialae Iki Park and there still are openings for boys and girls.

Sessions for the boys' group will run from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. each day. The girls' group sessions will run from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. each day.

Cost is $175 per individual, or $150 each for two or more siblings, or $100 each for four or more team players.

High school soccer players are welcome.

MOUNTAIN TOUR CALENDAR: The fourth annual Outrigger Hotels Hawaiian Mountain Tour will begin on March 11 with a time trial for professional mountain bikers at Aloha Tower Marketplace.

The event will continue on March 12 with pro cross-country and downhill competition at Waimea Valley. On March 13-14-15, the last three days of the Tour, the action will be at Kualoa Ranch.
