win divisionsDespite the loss, Hilo took the Volcano Division title when Maui lost, 6-4, to West Oahu and was eliminated.
The Sharks and Stars will play for the championship at 6:30 p.m. Friday at Hans L'Orange Park.
Norm Hutchins, Carlos Villalobos and Mike Glendenning each drove in two runs to pace the Sharks' attack against Hilo.
CaneFires 6, Stingrays 4: At Hans L'Orange Park, Tadahito Iguchi hit two homers to power West Oahu.
