


The Koolauloa Red Raiders Pop Warner football team travels to Orlando, Fla., Monday to play in the national Pop Warner Super Bowl. Pop Warner team
mainland-boundThe Red Raiders, who is coached by Brian Teo, represent a region that includes Southern California, Nevada, Arizona and Hawaii. The team, comprised of 33 8- to 11-year olds from Oahu's North Shore area, is 10-0 this season. It will play two games in Florida, beginning Wednesday.
Teo said the team has raised enough money to pay for airfares, but still needs to cover the cost of meals for the trip. He estimates that will cost $180 for each of the 44 members of the squad and coaches.

ALOHA BOWL TENNIS : The 10th annual Jeep Aloha Bowl Round-Robin Doubles Tennis Tournament is set for Sunday, Dec. 21, at the Hawaii Tennis Academy in Aina Haina.
The tournament is for players in the 3.0 to 4.0 playing levels. They are guaranteed at least five sets and receive goodie bags and light snacks for the $20 entry fee. Players enter as individuals and are paired with different partners in each set.
