"We're doing a lot of presentations to groups and employers on retirement and tax laws," Wong said. "The new tax law is very investor friendly with reduced capital gains, the child tax credit, the Roth IRA, the education IRA and the students' tax credit."
Wong has worked for American Express for 13 years. He was appointed district manager in 1988, and became acting field vice president one year ago. He has a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Hawaii and a master's in business from Chaminade University. He is in the Rotary Club of Honolulu Sunrise and Waioli Lions Club.
American Express Financial Advisors currently owns and/or manages more than $170 billion in assets in the nation.
