Second Keawe concert planned

So many fans of slack-key stylist John Keawe have requested tickets for the Big Island musician's annual Christmas performance at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, that Hawaii Public Radio is adding another one at 7:30 p.m. Sunday. Both concerts will be in the HPR Atherton Performing Arts Studio, 738 Kaheka St.

Keawe will perform holiday classics as featured on his "Christmas Is" release, as well as new, original vocal compositions. The two performances will be his only Oahu appearances this holiday season.

Tickets are $15 general, $12.50 for HPR members and $10 for students. Call 955-8821 for reservations.
