Turkey in the Imu

At the Hukilau Resort, clockwise from top left, Frank Franco,
Craig Huish, Tavita Mamea, Kawica Franco, Alfred Franco
and Leteo Leatigaga prepare the Thanksgiving imu, an
annual tradition. Turkeys, rabbits and lamb were cooked.

Below, the imu is prepared by heating rocks and covering
them with banana stumps and leaves.
