Musashimaru wins, shares lead with two others

FUKUOKA, Japan - Hawaiian-born ozeki (champion) Musashimaru improved his record to 10-1 today and shared the lead with two other wrestlers with four days left in the 15-day Kyushu Grand Sumo Tournament.

Tied with Musashimaru, or Fiamalu Penitani, were yokozuna (grand champion) Takanohana and ozeki Takanonami.

Musashimaru lowered his head and shouldered out No. 4 maegashira (senior wrestler) Kotonishiki (6-5).

Konishiki, or Salevaa Atisanoe from Hawaii, dropped to 5-6 after he lost to Kyokushuzan.

Yamato, or George Kalima from Hawaii, was shoved out by Mitoizumi (7-4) for his seventh defeat against four victories.
