Ambrose K. Cox, 88, of Honolulu died Tuesday in St. Francis Hospital. He was born in Nebraska. He is survived by wife Harriet Stryker Cox; daughter Helen C. Ferguson son John C.; five grandchildren, a great-grandson and a step-grandson. No services. Donations suggested to St. Francis Hospice, Sister Maureen Keleher Center or Kuakini Hospital.

Gordon S. Miyashita, 43, of Hilo, a baker for Hilo Pastry Shop, died Wednesday in Hilo Hospital. He was born in Hilo, he is survived by wife Isabella; son Darrell Cabrera; daughters Johnette Leopoldino and Kimberlynn Cabrera; parents Tatsuo and Sumiko Miyashita, and brothers Morris T. and Calvin K. Services: 5 p.m. tomorrow at Dodo Mortuary. Call from 2 to 5 p.m. Casual attire.

Misao Kawakami, 86, of Lihue, a retired schoolteacher, died Nov. 7 at home. She was born in Lihue. She is survived by husband Stanley; daughters Aileen Nishimura, Gale Kondo, Madge Sano and Joy Oura, eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Services were private.

Lydia K. La Pierre, 80, of Honolulu, a retired supervisor for Hawaiian Tuna Packers, died Nov. 5 at Beverly Manor Convalescent Center. She was born in Honolulu. She is survived by sons Harold, Robert and Leonard; daughter Geraldine Lum; 13 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild. Services were private.

Anne Marie Morissette, 55, of New Zealand, mother of Nina of Kaaawa, died Aug. 25 in New Zealand. She was employed in architecture and theology. Born in New York, she is also survived by daughter Mia. Private services.

Tsuyako Muramoto, 82, of Hilo, a co-proprietress of Mura’s Repair Shop, died Thursday in Life Care Center of Hilo. She was born in Puueo, Hawaii. She is survived by son Alexander; daughter Eleanor Miyake; sisters Sueko Fukuda and Fumiko Fukumori, and two grandsons. Services: 6 p.m. tomorrow at Hilo Meishoin Mission. Yoshiko Irene Okumoto, 78, of Honolulu, the retired owner of Nu-Way Cleaners, died Nov. 7 at home. She was born in Honolulu. She is survived by son Carl Y.; sister Jean I. Nakamura, and two grandchildren. Private services.

Ellietta R. “Nina” Beaudet, 80, of Kalaoa, Kona, died Tuesday in Keauhou Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center. Born in Waipunalei, Hawaii, she is survived by sons Clyde, Lynn and David; daughters Leilani Frank, Sonja Berdon and Paulette Spencer; brothers Herman, Victor, Joseph and Edward Fergerstrom; sisters Aileen Bringman and Eleanor Wong Chong; 17 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren. Michael L.K. Garcia, 35, of Kaimuki, a rhythm guitarist with “Abby

Margaret M. Gouveia, 85, of St. Pete Beach, Fla., a licensed practical nurse for Hilo Memorial Hospital, died Sunday in St. Pete Beach. Annie S.K. Holeso, 82, of Honolulu died Tuesday in Honolulu.
