Paulina Pili Evans uses a new approach to advertising for the Aloha Tower Marketplace so it won't be confused with other marketplaces. A cultural approach to advertising
"We have a new branding (name identification) using 'Aloha Tower, home to Hawaii's festival marketplace,'" Evans said. "And we are doing more cultural things. On Sept. 21, we had 750 hula dancers. We want people to know that every day they can find something culturally unique at Aloha Tower."
She came to Aloha Tower in 1994 after 14 years at the Outrigger Waikiki Hotel where she was assistant hotel manager.
She is active in community work on the executive board of the Leeward Pilot Club which raises money for efforts to help those with brain related disorders.
Aloha Tower Marketplace includes 100 shops, restaurants and entertainment venues.
