Terrance Long led off the bottom of the first inning with a home run, his first of two in the game for the CaneFires.
In the third, Nobuhiko Matsunaka belted a three-run homer and Fletcher Bates followed with a solo shot.
Roberto Colina had a two-run double for Maui in the fifth inning.
Yesterday's game between the Honolulu Sharks and the Hilo Stars at Francis Wong Stadium was postponed by rain. No makeup date has been scheduled.
