Bringing in some special brews

Brenda Martin has taken a new position at Anheuser-Busch to oversee the introduction of new specialty brews that are designed for the seasons.

Martin works with store buyers and also is involved in sales data analysis and business reviews.

"Michelob is coming out with new specialty lines this fall," she said. "Michelob maple brown ale is made with pure maple syrup. We also will have Michelob winter brew spice ale and a Michelob sampler pack in a Christmas package."

She came to Oahu three months ago after working 15 years on Maui, most recently as sales manager for the company's Maui operations. Martin also worked for Inter-Continental Hotel Corp. and Eagle Distributors on Maui.

Anheuser-Busch Sales of Hawaii is a subsidiary of Anheuser-Busch Cos. Inc., based in St. Louis, Mo.
