Controlled growth at Maryl Group

David Logan is keeping busy as as the Maryl Group Inc. grows in Hawaii and looks for strategic alliances internationally.

"We've grown to Hilo which is a major part of our revenue," Logan said. "We're moving into Maui and Oahu and getting into commercial property leasing and management." The Maryl Group has expanded from the headquarters in Kona to include offices in downtown Honolulu.

Logan is a certified public accountant who has worked at Kona Coast Resort, MacFarms of Hawaii, Waikoloa Development Co. and the Washington Water Power Co. in Washington.

He has done community service work with the Kahakai Elementary School parents teachers organization, the Kona Junior Chamber of Commerce, and the West Hawaii Foodbank advisory board.

He has a bachelor's degree in accounting from Washington State University.
