James K. “Aloi” Delo Santos Sr., 49, of Kalaoa, Papaikou, Hawaii, died Monday in St. Francis Hospital. Born in Hilo, he is survived by wife Gloria Jean; stepdaughter Shelly Ganigan; sons James K. Jr., William and Shannon; mother Lilinoe; brothers Leslie, Ellsworth and Wayne; sister Carol Labrie; and five grandchildren. Services: 8 p.m. Tuesday at Dodo Mortuary. Katherine C. Holt, 68, of Mililani, is survived by sister Elsie Olmos; stepbrother Richard Tagere; and stepsisters Janet and Augie. Incorrect information published Thursday was provided by the mortuary.

Emilia “Nangie” La Puente, 73, of Waipahu, died Oct. 2 in Waipahu. Born in Koloa, Kauai, she is survived by husband Martin; sons Michael, Jeffrey, Anthony,

Richard, Jourdan Sr., Charles and Martin Jr.; daughters Yvonne Morizono, Debra A. Davan, Doreen Sabin, Cynthia Howard, Lorna McNamara, Iris Okamura, and Alison Herrera; brothers Ernesto and Constancio “Slats” Paden; sisters Lucia Alcares, Sofea Cagalawan, and Florencia Lewis; 27 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
