Constance Oshiro is optimistic about real estate sales at Makakilo which she describes as "steady in a changing market."

"It's a more normal market (compared to the hot market in the late 1980s)," Oshiro said. "We've developed sales programs and financing packages to motivate sales," she said.

These include options such as "no-down-payment" and "special interest rates for 30 years," she said.

Finance Realty is selling single-family homes at Royal Ridge and West Hills and lots at Makakilo Ridge.

Oshiro has 13 years of experience in real estate for Pacific Resources Realty, Schuler Homes Inc., Oahu Realty Inc., West Oahu Realty Inc., and Century 21 Liberty Homes Inc. Finance Realty Ltd., formed in 1953, has developed residential subdivisions in Manoa, Waipio Acres, Pupukea and Makakilo.
