Bring theatrical flair
to Halloween

Diamond Head Theatre opens its door Saturday to its annually awaited costume sale.

Halloween shoppers and vintage buffs should show up early for the best selection. The sale runs 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the DHT rehearsal hall at 520 Makapuu Ave. Sales are final and cash only.

For those who don't want to buy a costume to wear only once, the theater's costume shop also offers rentals. The shop will be open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Oct. 20 through Nov. 2.

For more information about sales, call 734-8763. For rentals, call 737-8108.

Native American voices

Dancer Rob Greyhill, storyteller Gayle Ross and recording artist Douglas Spotted Eagle will be among the performers starring in "Voices of Native America" Saturday at Leeward Community College Theatre.

The concert -- a celebration of Native American culture, past and present -- takes place at 8 p.m. Saturday. The three lead performers will be backed by the nine-member Dancing Voices Ensemble.

Tickets are $17.50 for adults and $15 for students, seniors and military, available at the LCC box office. Tickets may also be charged by phone with no service fee. Call 455-0385 for more information.
