


Season tickets for the 1997-98 University of Hawaii men's basketball season will be on sale for the general public starting Monday at 8 a.m. at the UH Special Events Arena box office. Rainbow basketball season

Customers can walk up to the box office or use mail order or telephone orders.
Walk up customers can begin standing in line at 1 p.m. Sunday. Tickets will be sold on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Mail orders will be accepted starting Tuesday. There is a $4 handling fee.
Telephone sales also start Tuesday by calling (808) 956-4481. There is a $6 convenience fee.
PRO GAS DRAGS: Rescheduled Pro Gas race No. 8 is tonight at Hawaii Raceway Park.
Tomorrow there will be Pro Gas bracket racing and junior dragster qualifying.

CROSS COUNTRY CHANGE: Tomorrow's Interscholastic League of Honolulu cross country meet at Punahou will start at 3 p.m., instead of 9 a.m., as originally scheduled.
WAHINE SAILORS OPEN: The University of Hawaii women's sailing team opens its season this weekend at the Pacific Coast Women's Singlehanded Championships in San Diego.
The regatta, hosted by UC San Diego, takes place on Mission Bay tomorrow and Sunday. It's the first year UH is fielding an all-women's team in addition to its coed crews.
BENEFIT FOR COLLINS: Donna Collins' fight with cancer gets a boost from a fund-raising event at Murphy's Bar & Grill Tuesday starting at 5:30 p.m.
The wife of University of Hawaii football player Sam Collins has battled breast cancer with chemotherapy. She requires a bone marrow transplant costing $100,000. It is not covered by health insurance.
