"SME's a constant learning experience," Regner said. "Between the speakers and the conversations during dinner with our members, there isn't a meeting where I don't go away with a great idea."
The group was formed in 1948 by 35 people; today it has some 170 members.
He has worked for Revlon for 37 years, most of that at Revlon Consumer Products Worldwide Inc. in New York, where he advanced to marketing vice president. Fourteen years ago, he came to Hawaii as the general manager of Revlon Mid Pacific Inc., which covers Hawaii, Guam and Micronesia.
He earned a bachelor's degree in economics from Northwestern University.
Regner and his wife, Dorothy, have two children.
