Trainers aren't ruling out the possibility that he will play in next week's game with Cal State Northridge. Cornerback Ricky Lumford will undergo an MRI today for a neck strain he suffered in last Tuesday's scrimmage at Cooke Field. UH trainers say it's precautionary.
