Arlen B. Coffman, 64, of Bartow, Fla., formerly of Aiea, died June 9 in Florida. He is survived by wife Hilary; daughter Khrysti; sister Shirely Barsen; and brother Lowell. Services held.

Charles E. “Charlie” Conboy, 87, of Kailua, a retired U.S. Navy commander and real estate appraiser, died July 28 in Hospice House. Born in Massachusetts, he is survived by wife Muriel; sons Alan and Charles Jr.; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Memorial services: 10 a.m. tomorrow at Lanikai Beach. Aloha attire. Albert Fernandez, 83, of Kaneohe, a retiree of he city Parks and Recreation Department, died last Friday in Kaneohe. Born in Hawaii, he is survived by wife Harriet K.; stepsons Joseph and Theodore Rodrigues and Nicholas Hottendorf and Dennis Fernandez; stepdaughters Lorrain Wilson and Maydell Pontecorvo; brothers Manuel Fernandez and William Damacose; sister Elizabeth Guerrao; 37 stepgrandchildren; 55 great-stepgrandchildren; and seven great-great-stepgrandchildren. Jesus C. Manzano, 74, of Honolulu died July 29 in St. Francis Hospital. Hidenori Masuda, 71, of Wahiawa, a retired civil service engineer at Schofield Barracks, died July 29 in Wahiawa General Hospital. He also served in the U.S. Army. Born in Lahaina, he is survived by wife Toshiko; daughters Keiko M. Wilcox, Emi Cheape and Tammy Y. Masuda; and four grandchildren. Private services.

Betty J. McCabe, 56, of Waipahu died July 26 at home. Born in Honolulu, she is survived by husband Joseph III; sons Eddie R. and Billy G. Mosley; daughters Roxanne V. and Sherry A. Lawrence “Noy” Pacarro, 60, of Ewa Beach, a retired pipe fitter at Pearl Harbor Shipyard, died Friday in St. Francis-West Hospital. He was also a U.S. Army veteran. Born in Honolulu, he is survived by wife Marlene D.; sons Lawrence D. “Bobo,” Darren A. and Lance D.; daughter Elvira D. “Koochie”; five grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
