Chew Leong Wong celebrates his 100th birthday, under the
traditional Chinese way of counting birthdays, with son
Lester Wong, left, and grandson Creighton Pang. Below,
Wong reminisces with old friends Chang Gar Yook, with
whom he's had lunch every Tuesday for 15 years, and
Bing Fai Lau, who has been a friend for 80 years. Wong
attributes his longevity to having harmony and peace
with his family of seven boys and 6 girls--and drinking
tea and walking to work daily.
