Halau Mohala 'Ilima, directed by kumu hula Mapuana deSilva, will present the 18th annual Ho'olauna Pu Kakou Sunday from 3 to 6 p.m. at King Intermediate School in Kaneohe. Hula at the Ho'olauna
Kawai Cockett, 'Anakala David Ka'io and Anuhea will entertain while the halau's dancers will perform works in progress.
Tickets are $5; children under 10 free. Proceeds benefit the Makalei Foundation, which supports halau activities.

Ala Moana beach is the site for the AT&T Hawaii Dragon Boat Festival Saturday. Dragons come by sea
Forty-six teams will compete in the races that feature ornate, multicolored boats decorated with dragon heads, tails and scaly bodies. The race course parallels the park from the McCoy Pavilion parking loop to the "highrise" lawn.
There also will be food and craft booths, entertainment and carnival games.
