Rogers moving up at A&B

Glenn R. Rogers has been promoted to executive vice president at Alexander & Baldwin Inc. Rogers, who arranged the sale of Matson Leasing Co. and the purchase of California and Hawaiian Sugar Co., will divide his time between company offices in Honolulu and San Francisco.

"I've been living in or traveling to Hawaii for the last 25 years and I expect to continue to do a lot of traveling," Rogers said. He resides in the San Francisco Bay area.

Rogers retains his current responsibilities as senior vice president, chief financial officer and treasurer for A&B Hawaii Inc. He joined A&B Agribusiness in 1975, later serving with Matson Navigation Co. in sales and marketing and as area manager for Northern California and Hawaii.

Rogers earned a bachelor's degree in economics from Claremont McKenna College and a master's degree in business administration from Stanford University.
