Ka Mo'olelo o Ka Pa Konane...Tales of a Moonlit Night: Keone Nunes and Glen Grant share the history and culture of Waianae as participants take a tour from Honolulu to Waianae, 3-10:30 p.m. June 21. At Pokai Bay, Kapuwailanionohinohiula performs an ancient hula kahiko near the remains of a heiau; at Keawaula, near Kaena Point, legends about life after death will be shared; and at Makua Valley, supernatural tales of the spiritual region will be told. Cost: $45, includes a Hawaiian-style dinner of laulau and lomi salmon. Reservations: 943-0371.

Moiliili Mysteries: Honolulu Time Walks explores the legends of Kamapua'a, Hi'iaka and Lohi'au; and remembers the old "Termite Place" (Honolulu Stadium), Chunky's Drive-In, the mochi store and Willows Restaurant in a tour led by Glen Grant, 6 to 9 p.m. June 26, beginning at Old Stadium Park at the corner of King and Isenberg streets. Chinatown Historical Society tours are 10 a.m. Mondays through Fridays. Costs $5. Call 521-3045.

Chinese Chamber of Commerce of Hawaii tours are 9:30 a.m. to noon Tuesdays. Costs $5. Call 533-3181.

Contemporary Museum, First Hawaiian Center: Docent walk-in tours noon every third Thursday.

Contemporary Museum, Makiki Heights: Docent walk-in tours 1:30 p.m. Tuesdays through Sundays; and 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. every third Thursday. Call 526-1322.

Foster Botanical Garden: 1 p.m. weekdays. General admission $5. Call 522-7066.

Halawa Xeriscape Garden: Free admission to garden of dry-land plants at Halawa Industrial Park 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays and Wednesdays. Guided tours are free on Thursdays and the last Saturday of each month; call 527-6113 for an appointment.

Hawaii Ghost Tours: See haunted spots on a three-hour bus tour 6:30 p.m. Saturdays. Narrated tour includes stops at cemeteries, hotels, an ancient temple, the Royal Mausoleum and the Pali Lookout. Costs $25. Call 596-2052.

Hawaii Theatre: Hour-long tour of the $22 million renovation which includes the "front-of-the-house," insights into historic restoration, the theatre's history, and an introduction to the 1922 Robert Morton Theatre Organ. At 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. every first Monday of every month. Cost: $5. Call 528-5535.

Hawaiian Railway: Train departs for 90-minute ride through Ewa 12:30 and 2:30 p.m. Sundays from 91-1001 Renton Road. Passengers should arrive a half hour before departure time. Costs $8 general, $5 seniors and children. Reserve at 681-5461.

Ho'omaluhia Botanical Garden: Learn about rain forest plants 10 a.m. Saturdays and 1 p.m. Sundays. Free. Bring walking shoes, bug repellent, rain gear and a picnic. Call 233-7323 for reservations.

Urban Garden Center: 9 a.m. to noon Tuesdays, 962 Second St., Pearl City. Call 453-6050. Gardens at the educational center also open on the first Saturday of each month.
