"Relay for Life": Ten-member teams needed for the HMSA-sponsored benefit for the American Cancer Society. Teams will take turns walking, running, dancing (or any other forward motion) around a track to collect a minimum goal of $1,000 per team. Entertainment includes Nohelani Cypriano and her mother Leina'ala Simerson, Nalani Olds, Jesse Rivera, "TSB," Down South Connection and performers from "Legends in Concert." There also will be free health screenings, free on-site testings for cholesterol, diabetes and body fat percentages, visits by McGruff and magician Alan Arita, children's games, craft booths, bingo, line dancing, hula aerobics, door prizes and snacks. Roberts Hawaii will provide free shuttle transportation to and from several satellite parking lots to and from Kapiolani Park. From 7 p.m. June 28 to 7 a.m. June 29, Kapiolani Park. Kapolei Park will also have a relay with additional activities, at the same time.
