Honolulu accountant Mark D. Hunsaker joins the national advisory council of the Institute of Litigation Services Advisors, which provides services to more than 100 law firms. Taking the law into account
"There are a handful of CPA firms that provide litigation services," he said. "They are certified business appraisers and experts in damages and proof of damages."
Hunsaker has 10 years of experience in cases ranging from breaches of contract and lost profits to wrongful-death suits and the monetary value of a person's life.
He works through Bowen Hunsaker & Co. which was founded in American Samoa in 1978. Hunsaker is a major in the Air Force Auxiliary, which does search-and-rescue and counter-narcotics missions.
He earned a bachelor's degree in business administration/accounting at the University of Kansas and did graduate studies at the University of Kentucky.
