The State Foundation on Culture and the Arts presents a look at these public works in "Collective Visions 1967-1996" Sept. 4 through Oct. 12 at the Honolulu Academy of Arts. Pieces by 131 artists, including Juliette May Fraser, Tadashi Sato and David Kuraoka, are featured.
Admission to the academy will be free to residents with valid Hawaii photo ID during the exhibition.

The free show will also feature a concert starting at 6 p.m. on the center's ewa parking deck with Robi Kahakalau, Kanilau and the Honolulu Symphony providing the music.
The fireworks will start at 8:30 p.m. and will be launched from Magic Island.
The fireworks show, "A Million Points of Light," will be produced by Pyro Spectaculars, who provided the fireworks for the Olympics ceremonies in Atlanta.

From today through Friday, those who buy tickets for the June 28 Na Leo Pilimehana show and the Aug. 1 Natalie Cole concert will get a free ticket for the Aug. 23 performance by Keali'i Reichel, George Kuo, Dennis Kamakahi, Robi Kahakalau and Keith Ikaia-Purdy.
The offer is available only through the symphony's ticket office (677 Ala Moana, Suite 615), which is open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays through Fridays, and by calling 538-8863.
The June 28 concert will also feature guest conductor Matt Catingub, Willie K, Amy Hanaiali'i and John Cruz. Tickets are $12.50, $20, $30 and $50.
Cole's concert will also feature guest conductor Charles Floyd. Tickets are $20 for lawn and $50 and $75 for reserved seats.
The Aug. 23 concert is a send-off as the symphony makes its Hollywood Bowl debut a week later. It will be conducted by Music Director Samuel Wong and Aaron Mahi of the Royal Hawaiian Band. Tickets are $12.50, $20, $30 and $50. With the purchase of the first two concerts, ticket buyers will receive a free $12.50 lawn ticket.

The Hawaii Ballet Theatre will present four performances of "Alice in Wonderland" June 20-22 at Leeward Community College Theatre. Share tea with 'Alice'
Show times are 8 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, with a 2 p.m. matinee on Saturday and Sunday. A free "Mad Hatter's Tea Party" follows each matinee during which the audience may meet with the dancers in costume.
Also on the program is "Eight by Benny Goodman," a jazz ballet dance to popular music of the 1930s and '40s, played by the great clarinetist Benny Goodman.
