Oahu

Today's forecast

Some showers tonight and tomorrow morning, then mostly fair. Lows 70-75, Highs lower 80s windward, upper 80s leeward. Trades 10-20 mph.

Extended forecast

Thursday-Saturday: A few night and morning showers, mostly sunny days. Trades 15-25 mph.

Kauai, Maui, Molokai, Lanai

Some night and morning showers in windward and mountain areas, otherwise mostly fair and sunny. Trades 10-20 mph.

Big Island

Windward Kohala, Hamakua, Hilo and Puna: Expect showers tonight and tomorrow morning, then afternoon sunshine.

Leeward Kohala, Kona and Kau: It will clear tonight following some evening showers. Tomorrow will be sunny in the morning, then turn cloudy in the afternoon with a few upslope showers.

Trades 10-20 mph except in the Hilo and Kona districts, where winds will be locally variable 5-15 mph.

Marine advisories

A ridge 400 nautical miles north of Honolulu is nearly stationary. There are no marine warnings posted.

Coastal waters: Tonight and tomorrow, east winds 15 knots, seas 4 feet, brief windward showers night and morning, otherwise fair.

Channels between the islands: East winds 20 knots, seas 8 feet, a few showers tonight and tomorrow.

Volcano

Lava is flowing in a remote wilderness area of Hawaii Volcanoes National Park; it is not visible from roadways.
