An exhibition featuring select treasures of the Hawaiian monarchy will continue indefinitely in the Bishop Museum Hawaiian Hall's Kahili Room. Bishop extends show of treasures
"Royal Treasures" includes a collection of 15 kahili that descend from the Kamehameha and Kalakaua dynasties, and which have not been exhibited in the Kahili Room for more than two decades.
Also on display is the newly restored carriage of Queen Liliu'okalani, Prince Albert's bathtub, a Hawaiian flag quilt, Kamehameha I portraits, the bust of King Kalakaua, and ali'i jewelry of Queen Emma, Queen Kapi'olani, Princess Ka'iulani and Princess Bernice Pauahi Bishop.
Other royal treasures will be added to the exhibition in the future.
Bishop Museum is open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is $14.95 for adults, $11.95 for youths 6 to 17 years and seniors. Kamaaina rates are $7.95 for adults, $6.95 for youths 6 to 17 years and seniors. Children below age 6 and Museum members are free. Information: 847-3511.

Proceeds from a private pre-opening party and a percentage of sales on Saturday will benefit the Maui AIDS Foundation and the Maui Arts & Cultural Center's "Can-Do Days" youth art program.
The Maui Marketplace store will offer Starbucks coffee beverages, pastries and brewing equipment. Tracey Taylor has been named manager.
Partial scholarships are being offered by Pacific Islanders in Communication to Pacific Islanders who are United States citizens or have a U.S. resident status and want to attend the 1997 Pacific New Media classes on video and film production at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. Singing, at Harvard University, is a tradition that goes back more than 200 years. In 1946, however, some Harvard Hasty Pudding Club members formed a quartet and named themselves the Harvard Krokodiloes, after the Greek word for crocodile. The current edition, which has 12 members, will perform at 5:30 p.m. June 10 and 11, and at 7:15 p.m. June 11 at the Mai Tai Bar in the Royal Hawaiian Hotel.
The Krokodiloes' repertoire includes jazz, swing and early '50s ballads.

More than 100 different microbrews, handcrafted beers, lagers and ales will be featured, including beers manufactured in Hawaii by Gordon Biersch, Alii Brewing Company, and Mehana Brewing Company.
