Anthony M. “Tony” Capellas, 47, of Mountain View, director of social services for the Hawaii Island Adult Care Center, died Saturday in Hilo Hospital. Born in Pepeekeo, he is survived by wife Sandy; son Michael Ignacio; daughter Lorena Barbietto; brothers Eugene “Buzzy” and Joseph D.; sisters Carol Jean Capellas, Elizabeth McPherson and Charmaine Ka-ipo; and two grandchildren. Mass: 10 a.m. Saturday at Malia Puka O Kalani Church, Keaukaha. Call from 8:30 a.m. Burial: Homelani Memorial Park. Casual attire. No flowers.

Felix A. Dumo, 88, of Pahala, Hawaii, died Sunday at home. Born in the Philippines, he is survived by wife Norma C.; sons Alexander, Norberto and David; sisters Loreta Fuerte and Semona; and brother Federico. Gordon L. Granger, 73, of Hilo, a retired accountant, died last Thursday in Hilo Hospital. Born in Connecticut, he is survived by son Gordon H.; daughters Thella Burgess and Heather Lopez; and nine grandchildren. Services: 1 p.m. Saturday at Memorial Mortuary. Call after noon. Tadao Hodai, 79, of Aiea, a retired Army cargo specialist, died Saturday in Maunalani Nursing Home. Hodai, a member of the 100th Battalion, was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Hazel H.; son Patrick T.; daughter Candance E. Okinaka; brother Charles M.; and sisters Michiko Itagaki, Clara H. Ichiriu and Dora S. Matsuoka. Memorial service: 10 a.m. Sunday at Hosoi Garden Mortuary. Casual attire. No flowers.

David H. Kalama, 77, a retired refrigeration specialist at Pearl Harbor and the Ship Repair Facility in Guam, died May 14 in Kuakini Hospital. Born in Kakaako, he is survived by wife Mary F.; sons David H. Jr. and Samuel H.; daughters H. Haunani Kalama-Smith and J. Namahanaikaleleonalani Kalama-Panui; hanai son Samuel Kahalewai; sisters Emily N. Kane and Julia K. Waechtler; and two grandchildren. Services: 6:30 p.m. Sunday at Borthwick Mortuary. Howard H. Kam, 81, of Pearl City, a retired Dole Co. truck driver, died on May 12 in Kapiolani Hospital at Pali Momi. Born in Honolulu, he is survived by sons Dennis Y., Vernon H., and Nathan C.; daughter Eloise K.H.Y. Heidenfeldt; brothers James, Phillip, and Kenneth; sisters Annie, Marion, Amy and Hilda; 22 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. Services: 6:30 p.m. Saturday at Mililani-Waipio, mauka chapel. Katsuotoshi Kano, 91, of Honolulu, a retired carpenter, died May 13 in Kuakini Hospital. Born in Hana, Maui, he is survived by daughter Amy E. Imamura and three grandchildren. Private service.

Tetsuo Kidani, 76, of Paauilo, Hawaii, a retired Hamakua Sugar Co. sugar refiner, died Tuesday at home. Born in Paauilo, he is survived by wife Yoshiko; sons Clyde, Clive and Leroy; daughter Emily Thomas; brothers Haruo and Yoshito; sisters Hanako Kobayashi, Matsuko Teragawa and Janice Kogal; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Masae Kozai, 96, of Waipahu, died on May 11 in Waipahu.
