ALL-REGION HONORS: Two Hawaii Pacific University softball players were named to the NAIA Far West/Pacific Northwest All-Region Team yesterday.
Honored were junior first baseman Felisa Pascua and senior right fielder Michele Ringor. The pair, both All-Americans last season, are again eligible for All-American consideration.

MOYNAHAN TRIUMPHS: Brendan Moynahan captured the GTE Hawaiian Tel Hall of Fame golf championship Monday at the Plantation Course at Kapalua, Maui, with a 36-hole score of 146.
Moynahan won by two strokes over Scott Gileta after finishing with a final-round 76.
Masa Kaya took the senior flight with a 76--151.
