LAND

STATE LAND USE COMMISSION: Petition by the city and state (director of the Department of Housing and Community Development) to reclassify about 100 acres from agricultural to urban at Honouliuli, Ewa for residential and community-type facility uses. Petition and maps available for review 7:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday, Land Use Commission Office, or at the city Planning Department. Hearing to be scheduled.



UTILITIES

PUBLIC UTILITIES COMMISSION: Hearings for approval of an application by Young Brothers Ltd. for a general rate increase of 8.2 percent:

West Hawaii: 8 p.m. Thursday, Kealakehe Intermediate School Cafeteria, 74-5062 Onipaa St., Kailua-Kona; 7 p.m. hearing for consideration of application by Young Brothers Ltd. to revise its sailing schedule for the County of Hawaii and amend its Local Freight Tariff No. 5-A accordingly.

Lanai: 7 p.m. next Monday, Lanai High and Elementary School Cafeteria, Fraser Ave., Lanai City.

East Hawaii: 7 p.m. May 6, Hilo High School Cafeteria, 556 Waianuenue Ave., Hilo.

Oahu: 7 p.m. May 8, State Capitol Auditorium, Basement level.
