A new isle operation for PKF

Harry Spiegelberg is heading up the new Honolulu office of PKF Investments, a unit of San Francisco-based PKF Consulting.

"We're transaction specialists for tourism-related real estate and that covers golf courses, restaurants, resorts and hotels," Spiegelberg said. PKF International of London is the parent of both PKF Consulting and PKF Hawaii, which already has accounting offices here.

He formed his own hotel consulting firm, Harry Spiegelberg & Associates, in 1989. Before that he had been senior manager for the management advisory services division of Pannell Kerr Forster in Honolulu since 1970. He has advised on transactions for hotels and resorts around the world.

He earned a bachelor's degree in hotel and restaurant management from Washington State University and a master's degree in business management from Central Michigan University.
