Shutout wins for
Pearl City and Kalaheo

Michael Gomes tossed six shutout innings, allowing just two hits and striking out six, as Pearl City blanked Waialua, 8-0, yesterday at home in an Oahu Interscholastic Association Western Division makeup baseball game.

Ryan Touchi came on in the seventh to strike out the side, preserving the win.

Gomes also starred at the plate. He went 2-for-2 with four RBIs, including a three-run double in the sixth inning.
