’Bows sign 7-footer

Moeller is expected to fill the void
left by the departure of Sundberg

Bryan Moeller, a 7-foot center from Connors State College in Warner, Okla., has indicated that he will sign with the University of Hawaii basketball team.

"I think I fit in really well with the players," said Moeller.

Moeller, who is expected to fill the void created by the graduation of 7-1 pivot Seth Sundberg, is ranked as one of the 15 top centers in junior college according to Rick Ball, who runs a national scouting service.

Nevada-Las Vegas, Cincinnati, Southern California and Western Kentucky reportedly were also interested in Moeller.

"His future is very bright," said Moeller's coach, Bill Muse.
