Web site can help
with life’s little jobs

Life, as you may have noticed, isn't always easy. There is too much stuff we just don't know how to do.

Some of the most vexing moments are when you are faced with a turkey to carve, jars that won't open, mice invading your house, ties to be tied, shirts to be ironed, hangovers to be cured, diapers to be changed, fish to be cleaned and presents to be wrapped.

If you can't talk someone into doing all that for you, go to http://www.learn2.com, where at least you can get painless instruction on how to do hundreds of life's little jobs.

The Sausalito, Calif.-based company Panmedia put up the Web site with an eye to drawing advertisers. It is quickly being noticed on the Internet as one of the best places for quick information.

The authors say Learn2.com is geared to "everyone who needs to do something, and needs to learn how to do it as quickly and painlessly as possible."

"Home on the Web" is a weekly Friday feature of the Star-Bulletin.
