Managing statewide expansion

Bob Griffith, a 29-year veteran of the construction industry, is heading up the new Honolulu office for the Maryl Group.

"We want to expand statewide with construction development and construction management," Griffith said. "The Honolulu office will cover Oahu, Maui and Kauai."

He will oversee construction, commercial development, design/build and administration programs.

Griffith has been involved in construction at Waikele Center, Kiahuna Plantation on Kauai, Pualani Estates at Kona and the Maui Marketplace.

He earned a bachelor's degree in architecture from the University of Oregon.

The Maryl Group is celebrating its 10th year in Hawaii. Large projects include the $25 million Waiakea Center in Hilo, the CrossRoads commercial center in Kona, the Lyman Gardens senior residential project in Hilo and homes at Kealoha in Kona.
