Close Cut for Close Friends

Makakilo Elementary fourth-grader Paul Akiona sits still while
Nila Mindo lops his locks off at the school cafeteria. Akiona
is among more than 60 students who got the buzz cuts yesterday
in support of classmate Jimmy Querry, 10, whose hair fell out
from leukemia treatments. Below, Querry, center, is surrounded by
