Professional boxing returns to Honolulu tonight with a five-bout card at the Dole Cannery Ballrooms in Iwilei.

In the main event, Erwin Villaver (7-1) of Honolulu will take on Rosenberg Rosas (15-15-2) in a welterweight fight scheduled for 10 rounds.

Rosas was defeated by Hawaii's Ricky Hesia on a third-round TKO due to a cut in 1990 in Honolulu.

In the semi-main event, Roberto Granciosa (30-17-3) will face Gabriel Jara Camacho (10-4) in a junior welterweight fight scheduled for five rounds.

The undercard fights are: Jasen James Villagonza of Waipahu against Ted Price of Wahiawa in a four-round welterweight bout. Both are making their professional debuts.

Villagonza is the son of former pro fighter Jessie Villagonza, who once went the distance with local great Andy Ganigan.

Also, Leokava Latu (2-0) of Waianae takes on Robert Jackson (6-15) of California in a middleweight bout set for four rounds. And David Chambers (2-2) of Ohio will fight Tommy Chang of Washington D.C., who is making his pro debut in a welterweight fight scheduled for four rounds.

The gate opens at 6 p.m. and the fights start at 7:30 p.m. at the ballrooms, which are located at 735 Iwilei Road. Tickets are $15 for general admission and $20 for ringside
