Born in Taguiporo, Bantay, Ilocos Sur, the Philippines, he is survived by wife Lucrecia P.; daughters Marites and Heather Castaneda, Madeline Rychener and Jane Pope; and three grandchildren. Gloria K. Dionese, 64, of Kihei, Maui, died Friday in Kahului Hale Makua. Born in Arlington, Calif., she is survived by son Louis; brother James Borden; sister Alma Wilson; and a granddaughter. Kenneth K. Russell, 77, of Kona, formerly known as Kenneth A. Yanagi, a World War II veteran, died Feb. 26. He was proprietor of Fogerty’s in Escondido, Calif. Mariano R. Talosa, 66, of Honolulu, a custodian at Club Pearl, Pearl Harbor, died March 31 in Queen’s Hospital. Gina Whest, 64, of Honolulu, diplomate of the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners, died Sunday in Queen’s Hospital. She was a medical researcher at the universities of Tennessee, Washington and Hawaii, where she worked on treatments for sports and auto injuries and arthritis. Her practice in Hawaii was called Scientific Chiropractic Clinic. Born in Salzberg, Austria, she is survived by husband Robert M. Gibson; daughter Michell W.
