








Christel Tomori took a one-stroke lead going into today's final round of the All-Services Women's Invitational with a 36-hole score of 149 after shooting a 74 yesterday at the Kalakaua Golf Course. Tomori leads
All-Services InvitationalToday's final round will be held at the Kaneohe Klipper Course.
Tomori, a former Waiakea High School and University of Oregon golfer, leads Kristel Kakugawa by one shot. Kakugawa, who shared the first-round lead with Tomori, carded a 76 yesterday.
For the second day in a row there was a hole-in-one among the contestants as Linda Hoogs aced Kalakaua's second hole.
RALBOVSKY, SPRINGER TRIUMPH: Kevin Ralbovsky and Ken Springer came from back of the pack to win the Big Island Candies Scotch Four-Ball Championship yesterday at the Hapuna Golf Course.
They shot a 67 in the alternate-ball format for a 36-hole score of 137 to finish one stroke ahead of Jack Delaney-Mike McCoy, who posted a 68--138. First-round leaders, John Freitas and Sam Ainsley, skied to a 77 to end in a tie for fourth at 141.
KANESHIRO LEADS WAHINE: At St. George, Utah, the University of Hawaii women's golf team finished 10th in the Utah-Dixie Classic yesterday with a 971 total.
Oklahoma State finished first in the 54-hole event with a 918, one stroke ahead of Nebraska.
Dawn Kaneshiro paced the Wahine with a 234 total and a seven-way tie for 12th place.
VULCANS LOSE: At Pullman, Wash., the Washington State Cougars completed a two-game sweep of the University of Hawaii at Hilo Vulcans with a 6-3 nonconference baseball victory yesterday.
The Vulcans (15-23-1) helped the Cougars (5-26) by committing six errors in the field.
SPRING CLASSIC DEADLINE: Friday is the last day to register for the Hilton Spring Tennis Classic (April 18-20) at the Turtle Bay Hilton Golf & Tennis Resort.
Play is in men's and women's 2.5, 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4-5 singles and doubles. The event is for players 19 and older with a USTA/NTRP rating.
