The one-shot series will be published in May, providing background info on the Marvel lineup.
"Flashback: Untold Tales of Spider-Man" features Richard and Mary Parker, agents of S.H.E.I.L.D., on the cover and tells the story of the Parkers' lives before they became parents of Peter Parker -- the future Spidey himself.

Hawaii's four most ecologically-minded schools will do battle -- armed with scientific names and facts -- in "Paradise Pursuits," a Hawai'i environmental quiz show airing April 19 on KITV4. Set for 'Pursuit'
Thirty public and private school teams competed earlier in preliminary rounds, narrowing the field to teams from Hilo High, Iolani School, Kahuku and Kailua High Schools, Kamehameha Schools, Maui, Waianae and Waimea High Schools are competing. Of these, four schools will advance to the semi-final rounds airing at 3 and 3:30 p.m. The final round will air at 7 p.m.
"Paradise Pursuits," hosted by Paula Akana and produced by David McDonough, will also be entered into a national competition for children's programming.
Blues harp player Corky Siegel and the West End String Quartet perform a mesmerizing mix of chamber blues from 7:30 p.m. tomorrow at the Honolulu Academy of Arts. Playin' those chamber blues
Siegel is the only blues musician to have recorded for the prestigious classical label Deutsche Grammophon. He has written and performed with Arthur Fiedler, the San Francisco and Grant Park symphonies and the National Symphony Orchestra at Kennedy Center.

Nu'uanu Reservoir No. 4 will be open on weekends to fishers, beginning May 31, in two four-hour blocks every Saturday and Sunday. Fishers must have both state game fishing licenses and an Entry Fishing Card for the date and time assigned. Angling time

Hawaii musician Henry Kapono will perform a free concert to promote his new CD "Home in the Islands" at 7:30 p.m. April 18 at the Waikiki Shell. Kapono concert free
Kapono first became known as one-half of Cecilio and Kapono in the 1970s and has since become a prolific songwriter.
This is thought to be the first free concert by a "major artist" at the Shell and all 8,000 tickets are general admission, to be awarded in weekly drawings courtesy of Hawaii Shell gasoline dealers. Entry blanks are available at participating Shell stations on Oahu.
