He joined the commercial and industrial real estate company in 1989 and assumed management duties for the retail division in 1992. Greene also worked at Grubb & Ellis and was co-owner of "Picture This," an art gallery in Boulder Colo.

He earned a bachelor's degree in finance from the University of Colorado.

Greene is a director of the Waikiki Improvement Association.

Monroe & Friedlander specializes in the sale, leasing and management of office buildings, retail space, warehouses and shopping centers.
