New approaches to real estate

Peter Freeman is thinking about new ways to help the 4,100 members at the Honolulu Board of Realtors.

"We're re-dedicating ourselves to the membership, providing good customer service and products to help them be successful," Freeman said.

He was a Marine Corps pilot who came to Hawaii in 1980 and retired in 1990.

Since then he was worked as business development and strategic planning manager at BHP Petroleum/the Gas Co. and manager of business development at Hawaii Emergency Physicians Associated Inc.

Freeman teaches graduate marketing courses at Hawaii Pacific University, and is a director at Le Jardin Academy.

He earned his bachelor's degree in communications from Seattle Pacific University and his master's degree in business administration from the University of West Florida.
