USSSwim sets two workshops

Nelson Diebel, a 1992 Olympic gold medalists and American record holder in the breaststroke, will be one of the featured speakers when the LocalSwim Committee of USSSwimming holds its annual workshops and Gold Medal Clinic March 15 and 16.

Other presentations will be made by CarolAlexander and Will Colebank, from the USSSwimming headquarters staff in ColoradoSprings, Colo.; Jeannine Dennis, who became the first woman starter in the Olympics last year, and Hawaii's Dr.Allen Richardson and Dr. Jan Prins.

The workshop will be held on Oahu at the University of Hawaii's swimming complex on March 15, and on Maui at the War Memorial pool on the 16th.

PAR FOR THE PRIORY

The annual St. Andrew's Priory golf tournament will be held March 25 with a 12:30 p.m. shotgun start at Hickam AFB's Mamala Bay Course.

A chipping and putting tournament starts at 10:30 a.m.

The format is a three-person modified scramble. The entry fee is $125 per person, $375 per team.
