Kauai, Maui, Molokai, Lanai

Scattered showers tonight, mainly in windward and mauka areas. Tomorrow partly sunny after brief morning showers. Trades 15-30 mph.

Big Island

Windward Kohala, Hamakua, Hilo and Puna: Scattered showers tonight and tomorrow morning, then partly cloudy.

Leeward Kohala, Kona and Kau: Decreasing cloudiness tonight. Sunny tomorrow morning, turning cloudy in the afternoon with upslope showers. Variable winds 5-15 mph in Kona and Hilo areas, trades 15-30 mph elsewhere.

Marine advisories

A high far north-northwest of the islands is moving east at 25 knots. Small craft advisories are in effect for all Hawaiian waters due to strengthening trade winds.

Coastal waters: East winds 20-25 knots, seas 8-12 feet, a few windward showers tonight and tomorrow.

Channels between the islands: East winds 25-30 knots, seas 12-18 feet tonight and tomorrow.

Volcano

No eruptive activity is taking place underground or on the surface at Kilauea Volcano.
